David Usborne Collection

Alongside our filming, we have another project at work to keep us busy.
Following the Pitt Rivers museum visit, we are looking at a series of objects we have chosen from the David Usborne collection at the London College of Communication Special Collection.
The objects in question are put together by a group of us who beleive they work as a curated piece.
In this case we have chosen objects that link back to a domestic/kitchen type history and representation: A reinforced glove that was used for gutting fish, a 'batter jug' with multiple spouts, 60cm iron fork, a herb chopper and a cup whisker. Some more intriguing by others but we are looking underneath what really brings all togther as a selection of objects in an original way.
